Cruising was never something I had planned — and certainly not something I thought would become such a meaningful part of my travels.
My first cruise around the British Isles completely changed my perspective. What began with hesitation and uncertainty quickly turned into something I genuinely enjoyed — relaxed days at sea, new places, and the simple pleasure of letting the journey unfold.
Since then, I’ve taken two more cruises — one to the Caribbean and another through the Mediterranean. Different destinations, different settings… yet both brought me back to the same realisation.
It wasn’t always the places that stood out — it was the experience itself. The rhythm of life on board, the ease of travel, and the unexpected moments along the way.
Each cruise has been different, but together they’ve shown me that sometimes, it’s not about seeing more — it’s about enjoying the journey in a different way.
My very first cruise — a journey that began with hesitation and ended in complete surprise. This is where everything changed.
A relaxed, sunshine-filled escape where the destinations were beautiful — but it was the simple pleasures of life on board that truly stood out.
Familiar places seen differently — a cruise that showed me how travel can shift when you slow down and look beyond the highlights.
