Protecting your privacy is my priority.
This page explains how the personal information collected through my website is treated.
What personal data do you collect and why do you collect it?
When you contact me using the contact form on my website, I collect your first name, last name and your email address so that I can correspond with you. I use Contact Form 7 for this.
When you subscribe to my newsletter, I collect your name (only when provided) and your email address so that I can correspond with you. Your personal data is not only stored in my website database but also in MailChimps, the application that I use to send out my email newsletters to you.
2. Google Analytics
I use Mailchimps for my email newsletters. Mailchimps is one of the best marketing automation platform and it is GDPR compliant. They have a newsletter builder that makes it easy to create email templates.
In Mailchimps, only your email address, first and last names are stored. With your permission, I may send you emails about my blog and updates.
When visitors leave comments on the site, the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string is collected to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment on my site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies are also set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
You can read more about my Cookies Policy here.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who do you share my data with?
Mollywozhere does not share any personal data with anyone.
How long do you retain my data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on my website (if any), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Only me as the Website administrator can see and edit that information.
What rights do I have over my data?
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where do you send my data?
Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service.
How do you protect my data?
Protecting your privacy is my priority. I take reasonable precautions and follow industry yes practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, altered or destroyed.
