Welcome to Mollywozhere
I believe travel isn’t about how fast you move, but how deeply you look. Having stood at all 7 Wonders of the World and explored 187 of the globe’s most iconic sights and places -from climbing the Great Wall at 63 – to setting sail on my very first cruise, I’ve learned that adventure has no expiration date. I created this space to share real, lived experiences and inspire you to experience the world through your own lens, believing that there is always a ‘next’ experience waiting.
I’m Molly, and Mollywozhere is about joyful travel, confidence and curiosity at any age. I believe it’s never too late to experience the world and feel fully alive.
After retiring at 61, life shifted into a new rhythm, one centred around family and fresh perspective. I began to see life through a different lens. Not as something winding down, but as something opening up.
I created Mollywozhere in 2018 to entertain, inform and inspire people of all ages to begin their own adventures.
At 63, I climbed the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu. That climb wasn’t just about ticking off a destination. It was about curiosity, strength and proving to myself that new adventures were still possible.
Over time, this blog has become more than a travel diary. It has become a reflection of how life continues to expand through travel, connection, experience, learning and the courage to begin again.
Some journeys take me across the world.
Others are closer to home.
All of them remind me that there is always a “next”, and that there is joy in every adventure.
If you’re someone who wonders,
“Could I still do that?”
The answer is yes.
And I’m so glad you’re here.
Molly
